Prelim/Qualification Exam Registration Requirements

Academic Qualifications

1. Have passed all courses with a GPA ≥ 3.00 and no C or C+ grades;
2. Have completed preparing a paper with a theme determined by the study program and approved by the appointed supervisor; and
3. Have completed all academic and financial administration obligations.

Administration Qualification

Students register for prelim / qualification exams at the academic department of PS DIH with the following conditions;

1. Fill out the qualification exam registration form.
2. Submit papers that have been approved by the supervisor in the amount of 5 (five) copies (papers are bound with black covers);
3. Papers are submitted no later than 7 (seven) days before the qualification examination.

Prelim/Qualification Examination Procedure

1. Students submit the registration form and the draft paper that has been approved by the supervisor of 5 (five) copies to the academic department, at least 7 days before the exam.
2. The academic department prepares the invitation for the qualification examination and posts it on the notice board about the qualification examination.
3. The academic department distributes invitations and draft paper files to qualification examiners, at least 3 days before the exam.
4. The academic department prepares the examination room and the qualification examination form.
5. The qualification examination is conducted by a commission of examiners led by the Head of the Study Program.
6. After the qualifying exam is completed, the passing academic results are announced and the scores are submitted to the academic department.
7. If the student does not pass, the student can repeat the process number 1, while if the student passes, the prelim/qualification examination process ends.
